HISTORY
The Republic of Trylista is the only nation in Mörja that elects its leaders. Trylista’s economy is made up from farming, timber, and mining. The Republic earned its freedom 98 years ago after a four-year battle with the Kingdom of Evarst. King Eladias II of Evarst was killed during the battle of the Bridge of Evarst, allowing his son, Prince Riganold, to rise to the throne. Prince Riganold was a righteous and wise young man and called for a meeting with General Prapaious of Trylista. Riganold and Prapaious both felt that the conflict was costing too many lives and agreed to a peace treaty that many in the Kingdom of Evarst believed gave up too much land to Trylista. The peace treaty was called The Treaty of Eladias. The boundary became the Dipar River with both nations agreeing to maintain the Bridge of Evarst in a joint cost effort. Since this time the two nations have maintained a close bond both militarily, economically, and socially. Trylista also maintains a peace with the Kingdom of Calindor. However, rumor has it that Calindor is looking to make gains to their territory, leaving The Republic of Trylista as the most likely to be attacked.
