Note: The changes in this update make the beta a little too easy. There will be more updates to the beta branch before it goes live, including a more thorough adjustment to the opponent's defensive stats. Thanks for your patience.
An update is currently going out to the beta branch with some fixes and adjustments for a handful of issues that have been reported. Thanks for all of your feedback so far, and I'm glad that update #15 has been so universally well received!
Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts with me on the forum or at [email protected]
Changes to the beta in this update:
- Made some adjustments to the double vision effect to hopefully make it less nauseating for those sensitive to it. If you were bothered by it previously, please let me know how it feels now.
- Fixed an issue causing some hits to read as being much weaker than they should have been. If you were having issues with enemy hit reactions being inconsistent, this was the likely culprit.
- Fixed a bug where if the trainer in the gym would have been knocked down by your hit (he can't be knocked down), then he wouldn't react at all
- Prevented continuously clinching opponents near the edge of the ring make them stop attacking you while you freely pummeled them
- Fixed the issue causing opponents to sometimes rocket off into space
- Updated Zombie Joe and Headless Luis to the new combat system
- Loosened up knockout ragdolls a little
- Fixed an issue causing Dashing David and Lightning Luis to clip through the canvas when knocked out
- Fixed an issue where player fist wasn't vibrating when getting hit while blocking
- Made the play area auto-position itself within the gym to maximize free space
