Released: October 18th, 2016

This is the 2nd Patch released by Kingdom Games for FIVE: Champions of Canaan since the game launched on 9/27/16. Based upon community feedback, as well as our own testing and gameplay, we’ve focused our efforts on this patch to materially improve –

· VR support added for Razer's HDK2 VR headset!
· Visual elements of the game both in the City Market and during combat in the Arena
· Boss and enemy behavior (AI, targeting, animations/reveal, etc.)
· Improved controller functionality

Specific Bug Fixes

Resolved an issue causing duplicate bosses to be spawned during the first story event
Madaba and Rabbah relics added to the Kingstone Merchant
Ensure Players may not obtain lineage armor from the City Market vendor Kenan
Corrected dialogue animations between Zithri and Mitonia
Issue corrected with start button obscured at the 1280x1024 resolution
Fixed stat tracking for the Steam Achievement, “Mark of a Champion”
Boss minion AI corrected (increase balance and affinity to attack players)
Lock character movement when the player selects the inventory or vendor UI
Stop story event trigger (Event 01/03) when player character dies
Corrected an issue causing the character inventory representation to be unavailable

Polish & Shine

Enhanced “washed out” visuals throughout UI
Added water to the well near the camels so they won’t be so thirsty
Improved the escape option for story events
Renamed “Alpha Lion” to “Ari”

Controller Improvements

Added an “A” nameplate to reward chests during controller use
Added some controller improvements to allow VO samples to repeat smoothly
Adjusted controller legend:
“A” button labeled 'Pick Up/Select'
“X” button labeled 'Equip/Unequip'
Adjusted controller legend UI to show correct hints on vendor UI
Visual improvements made to the “pick up” highlight
Added controller hint to “Sell item” at Merchants through the “X” button
Added round select SFX to the map screen
Eliminated inventory controller legend persisting when the user closes the inventory with the “I” hotkey
