Plastic Ducks Went Crazy! Demo 1.4 Update is Now Live 🦆💨
Hello everyone!
Demo 1.4 is officially live! With this update, we've added brand new mechanics to our ducks, unleashed even more chaos, and skyrocketed the game's performance. Here is everything waiting for you in the new version:
💥 Brand New Dash Mechanics & Chaos
Dash System: A brand new dash ability has been added to the ducks! Press Shift to instantly dash forward.
Angry Ducks: Holding down Shift charges up your duck. Once it turns completely red and furious, it unleashes a much stronger and devastating dash!
Dash Afterimage: When dashing, your duck now leaves behind a ghost copy of its movement. This copy is automatically removed when you switch control to another duck.
Chain Reaction: If you dash into another duck, that duck gets angry and starts dashing into others around it, setting off wild chain reactions!
Billiard Ball Mode: Jump, press Down, and jump again in mid-air to execute a hard downward dash into the ground. Your duck will bounce wildly off walls and floors like a billiard ball.
🪶 Gameplay & Physics Improvements
Gliding Ducks: Deflating your duck mid-air now causes it to float down gracefully like a leaf instead of dropping like a stone.
Auto-Jump: No need to spam keys anymore. You can now simply hold Spacebar to keep jumping continuously.
Dynamic Collision Sounds: Physics objects now generate distinct impact sounds based on their material whenever they collide with surfaces or each other.
🛠️ Optimization & Bug Fixes
4x Performance Boost: Engine bottlenecks have been resolved, delivering a 4x improvement in overall optimization for a much smoother, high-FPS experience.
Rescue Mode: Fixed issues where falling under the floor resulted in an endless void. Falling out of bounds now triggers Rescue Mode, automatically respawning you in a safe zone.
Camera Fixes: Resolved several bugs affecting the spectator camera.
Jump into the update today and experience the chaos for yourself! Please share your thoughts and feedback on the discussion boards. Happy gaming! 🎮🦆
