Couple changes before starting work on this weekend's larger update.
Versioning
Right off the bat you may notice that this update looks different than in the past, that's because I'm not using letters anymore! Before I went too far down the rabit hole I've made the switch to something more along the lines of the Semantic Versioning.
It's a bit different since I don't have a public API, so the basic idea is that Patch versions (Z in X.Y.Z) are for bug fixes and minor changes. Minor versions (Y in X.Y.Z) are for medium additions to the core game mechanics and systems (Expect one of these once a week). And Major versions (X in X.Y.Z) are for large additions in content or major changes in game system.
The X will only change after alpha and beta have ended, so until that point Minor version increases will handle both medium and large changes.
VRTK 2.1
This update moves to VRTK 2.1 (and also puts the github repository for VRTK right inside the project itself, so it's easy to grab the latest changes and it won't require these big announcements anymore, we'll just always be up to date).
A fair bit was changed, so please let me know if any of the interactions are incorrect like when we upgraded to 2.0!
Other Changes
- Arrow catching fire sound was removed
- Enemies will correctly attack the door even if no one is watching
Edit:
Also fixed issue introduced that stopped bow/quiver from being picked up after dropping.
