Patch 0.9.2.3

In this patch, we are adding the Leaderboards screen along with a few bug fixes.

Leaderboards

Still a work in progress, it currently has two screens:

  1. The top players on the Leaderboard Currently only a handful of players are shown here, but expect to see this page being paginated in the future.
  2. Your position on the Leaderboards and players near your rank This is also looking very vanilla at the moment, and we still need to add highlighting to indicate the row you're at.

What to expect in the future
In the future, we will likely rename the button to something such as Social, and where you can look at your stats, as well as the stats of your friends, and players you've recently played against.

CPU Difficulty

So far, our CPU has made quite a few enemies out of players. It's been terrorizing newcomers who are still getting acquainted with the system, while it feels too weak to more advanced players.

Before we add a difficulty toggle, which should happen in the coming weeks, we've decided to make the CPU play slower to welcome our new players.

What's Next

Next up, our focus is to get Joystick Button customization functional, and as well as key customization for Versus Mode. We originally wanted to get them in for this patch, but we decided that we'd prefer to get the update out first with the leaderboards, instead of delaying the patch.

We will also be making some balance changes for the next patch.

In the future, we are thinking of setting up a poll for folks to vote on which features they want implemented first. But in the meantime, please let us know in the comments or in the Discord chat if you have any ideas or features you'd like to see sooner than later!
