Apologies for the lack of updates lately! We've been working like dogs on getting Kodon ready for the Royal Academy of Arts' exhibition "Virtually Real".
Everything went very well with the exhibition, with visits from several people from HTC, UK Minister of State for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries Matt Hancock ( https://twitter.com/MattHancockMP/status/818533025420103682 ), event arranger Eddie Walker and of course our brilliant artists, Adham, Jessy, and Elliott.
The exhibition concept was sculpting objects in virtual reality, printing them out to a scale of about 1 ton in weight, and arranging an interactive VR exhibition of the same objects.
What's in it for Kodon supporters:
* Separate "interactive exhibition mode" which can be used for exhibiting your objects with a limited interactive scope.
* OBJ and PLY file loading times optimized 10x
* Support for megaobjects
* Vastly improved vertex spray paint algorithm.
The changes can be observed (with some help) in the exhibition/exhibition2/exhibition3 branches. However it might be better to wait for us to roll it out into the main branch.
Again, apologies for the lack of updates! We'll make it up to you!
