Lessons:
People expect more features from Kodon than they do from more casual painting programs, which I think they should! Most reviewers have pointed out the early stage of the program, and are interested in which direction we will be going.
Kodon will aim for a semi-pro type of application. It will offer you ways of using the Vive to create content, but will still be accessible and fun to use. We are listening to the feedback and trying to create the optimal solutions to realize the features people want.
We have also learnt that not all hands are built for the upside-down controller, so this has been made into an option. Very useful. Keep giving feedback!
The main job so far has been the sculpting algorithm, making a GUI and so on. This means that new features can now be ticking in.
The future:
June will be used to quickfix any bugs and issues people will be having, while working on the next major version.
The next version will be released in July, and aims to address the "professional" features many are expecting from the program. I think people are going to enjoy the next iteration.
Stay tuned!
