Hey guys!
I'm Brianda and I work with testing and UX in Kodon. In the coming time I will give you regular updates and info on how Kodon progresses closer and closer to release.
So to begin - in the last few weeks we have been a bit distracted by big business partners that are important to keep our company alive, but now we're again ready for full on programming and coding out the known and new bugs. This, of course, needs a lot of testing and re-coding to get just right, which has been a bit of a pain, to be honest!
Previous week
Last week I was having big problems with features that were already in working order, like Chamfer, Extrude, Inset and selection, where the frustration came to a height as they suddenly didn't work at all! After some testing I basically had to tell the product manager that it was impossible for me to test further that day and I had to look at other tasks.
This week, after discovering this actually quite small pesky bug, and getting some upgrades to the code, things are really on the right track again, and we've managed to work constantly with topology in a new intuitive way so it was a clear step forward.
In short - we're still going through the pain of the testing phase so that you hopefully won't have to!
New stuff
In addition to fixing, we have some very cool new things coming your way, apart from improvements on the existing features, but let's keep it a secret for now...
To finish off I'll leave you with some screenshots of one of our new features that you probably already know about: Texturing and UV support.
Thank you for being patient!
