Endgame, New Features and Cross-Play
The Sixth Age
Effective immediately the Lords and Ladies of World 4 will now play using the new rule set:
- The cost to recruit troops in capitals has been halved.
- Movement speed has increased for Armies and Scouts.
- Monk movement speed has been doubled.
- Weapons can now be found in stashes.
- Weapons can once again be bought and sold at markets.
- The max size for a faction is now 10 players.
- One million Glory Points are required to win each Glory Round.

The Final Age
With the Sixth Age update now live it's time to announce our plans for the future of Stronghold Kingdoms! Once the Sixth Age Glory Race comes to an end on a world, said world will then enter its Final Age. In this age a single House of players must conquer and capture all Royal Towers, a new PvE target on the world map, before the House Marshall decides whether or not to press ‘The Button’ and close their world forever! Select players are then rewarded with ‘Royal Loot’ prize tiers, based on their rank and position at world end.
- Royal Towers – New randomly-generated PvE targets spawn on the map.
- New Rules – Towers rebuild once captured by a captain, but cannot be reinforced.
- Player-Led – House Marshall who controls all towers can end the game world.
- Massive Loot – Ending the world guarantees the winning house epic rewards.

The Future
New features and updates are in active development:
- New Features – Exciting gameplay changes are planned for Kingdoms in the form of future feature updates.
- Events System – A new in-game events system will offer global PvE and PvP challenges for all players, with rewards for those who rise to the challenge.
- iOS and Android – Our redesigned mobile version of Kingdoms is set for a late summer release on iOS and Android devices.
- New Worlds – Extra worlds and world types will be introduced to gradually replace those closed by winning Houses.
