Options Are Waiting.
Thank you all who have been a part of this journey.
I have taken the feedback from the demo, most of the complaints were around the bug with the 'date' segment which trust me I did EVERYTHING to try and resolve that. I brought in other programmers to take a look, got advice from old colleagues, I put in backup failsafes in the code to literally create an event for 'if level didn't trigger' and.... it did nothing to fix the issue. If you played the demo you noticed the 'soft-lock' fix in the Options Menu which did in fact help players, but yeah... days like this as a game dev I drink extra caffeine.
As for the MAIN GAME of the Options Menu Game.... It's good. I put a LOT of effort into making this surpass the demo in every way shape and form. I made sure the jokes were better, you had more OPTIONS, and everything played better. You have more customization in Options Menu, lots of secrets, achievements, jokes, and more. And at popular request... you get more Susan.
I wanted to make something really special and I think I did something fun. I hope you all enjoy it as I recently FINISHED the game. The game is planned to released end of September 2026, but I am waiting on Steam Approval first. So release depends on that, so fingers crossed.
We had beta testers go through already and it has been all positive remarks thankfully with no 'date' level bugs to drive me mad. Though these bugs 'could' occur in the future. If you want to help us out then congrats, I wanted to invite you all to my discord server where you can report feedback or just be more involved with these projects if you would like. If you want to post photos of your cat in discord there go for it, I put my cat in a bee costume and had him in the demo/main game so this is his game debut technically.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has been involved with this. It does mean a lot to me, I spend a LOT of time working on this and if you knew how much work went into this behind the scenes in the time it took to make this you would honestly be surprised.
