Hey everyone,
Today marks the beginning of the Deceit Halloween Event and the new ranked season, the event will last from after the patch until Monday 13th November and this ranked season will end in approximately one month. This gives everyone just over two weeks to work towards the seasonal rewards before the end of the event.
How does the event work?
This year’s rewards are all shown in a chart which will be in game after the patch, progression along the chart unlocks the corresponding rewards. To progress along the chart players must gather Halloween points which are available through collecting candy whilst playing and using Halloween loot booth tokens which are available in place of normal tokens for the duration of the event.
In addition to all of that, by using Halloween loot booth tokens players can unlock gear from last year’s event meaning there are multiple ways to expand your inventory with unique seasonal cosmetics which are not typically available.
Halloween points:
Halloween points are available by picking up candy in game or through spending Halloween tokens, the smaller the candy or the rarer the item looted the larger the rewards.
The types of candy and size classifications are as follows:
- Big Gummy Bears (Huge)
- Bowl of Sweets (Large)
- Chocolate Bars (Medium)
- Toffee Apples (Small)
- Golden Gummy Bears (Tiny)
Additionally, there are some performance based bonuses outlined below:
When escaping as an innocent player you will receive an addition 50% on top of whatever you have picked up in the game.
When executing an innocent as an infected player you will receive an additional 25% (per execution) on top of whatever you have picked up in the game.
Halloween Tokens:
Halloween Tokens will replace normal tokens for the duration of the event in both level up rewards and through token purchases (they will not replace the tokens awarded from the Werewolf Pack).
To spend Halloween Tokens simply go to the loot booth as normal and select a Halloween Token to give to the shady dealer.
This year’s event rewards:
This year’s event rewards will be visible in the event screen which is available in the top left of the main menu. You can also use this to track your progress towards the next reward and your overall progress throughout the event.

- My Candy! Victory Pose (Hans) (Uncommon)
- Better Halloween Emblem (Uncommon)

- Kitty Nina Outfit & Face paint (Nina) (Rare)
- Halloween Pistol (Rare)
- Too Greedy Defeat Pose (Rachel) (Legendary)
- Zombie Chang Outfit (Chang) (Legendary)
- Zombie Hand Melee Weapon (Legendary)
- Demon Terror (Legendary)
- Epic Emblem (Legendary)
Last year’s rewards – In the loot booth for a limited time!
In addition to the event rewards, last year’s Halloween rewards will be available in the loot booth for the duration of the event when using a Halloween token!
