Hello, everyone. My sincerest apologies for the lack of updates and engagement with you all over the last two months. I have had a number of issues keeping me from putting in the time on FreeHolder that it (and you all) deserve, but I bring good tidings. I have finally managed to land some profitable contractual employment, and this means a couple of things:
1. I will be able to set aside time each week to make an update to the game. I understand that, in a certain sense, consistency is more important than having massive quantities of updated content, and it serves as a touchstone to let you all know we're still chugging along. In other words, I want you to see something from me every week.
2. There may be a possibility that we will actually be able to invest a bit of money into the game ourselves, bringing in some graphical updates and so forth that we would all like to see.
3. Engagement on the forums must become a priority. If I were in your shoes (and admittedly I have been once or twice) I would be quite annoyed indeed if the creator of a game I was really enthused about never bothered to show himself (or herself) on the forums. This is early access, we desperately require your input, and we do read every comment on the forums. We simply ought to be faster at responding to your queries Thank you for your exceptional patience.
I'll have a chance to organize a new schedule after I finish up this work frenzy in a few days. I'll be back on the forums, back to work on the game, and we can get FreeHolder moving in the direction we all want it to go. Thank you for your faith in RogueWare and FreeHolder. I will see to it that you are rewarded.
Sincerely,
Chris
