"Michaela!! How does updating the game work!?"
Well, the game should reinstall and update automatically for you. If not, you can go to your Library tab and check the game properties to find how to update your game. It's a simply reinstall.
JUST BE AWARE: You MAY have to start over on the route you were on because the bugs in the game were adjusted and will not carry over. All CGs and unlocked specials you obtained will remain, but to fix the errors and inconsistencies in the game, you may have to start from the beginning again to reset the game script and load in the new fixes.
