HI!
A few important things here today..
Crash hot fixes, GPU skin cache crash to desktop resolved for VR, this was mainly affecting Nvidia cards on the latest drivers.
Screen Space Reflections enabled when "Effects" option is set to Epic. And increased default settings for VR, again... If it runs bad the biggest things here that will effect your performance are of course the screen percentage (super sampling) and the Post Setting I find. But the default options are quite conservative.
New Beta menu system for Standing VR Mode (click the check box at start prompt)
This will give you a room that you can walk around in, teleport around, familiarise yourself with the controls. There will eventually be some weapon training and movement training added to this into the rooms on the sides.
VR Menu UI improvements
VR advanced movement mode added in the menu, NOTE: This is an experimental mode that we have been working on for people to try out, it is far from finished. To control your character in this mode simply hold down the left trigger, and rotate the controller around (tilt, pitch, roll etc) to move the character in that direction. Example, strafe by rotating the controller around in your hand, it's pretty cool. Can do some very subtle movements here.
I think that is it for today's patch, I wanted to get this patch up asap as it contains the hotfixes for the nvidia crashes as these became a big problem with the newest drivers.
As usual, feel free to throw your ideas or comments about the new things at us in the forums.
Good luck have fun.
