Hi Team,
Here is a patch to address all of the issues with the Oculus Rift. (height issues and menu issues)
If the camera pitch is something that you do not like, please try out the alternate mouse mode by pressing "M"
Please NOTE: HOLO servers are for VIVE only.
Here are some helpful tips to help you out if you are having issues with the Rift:
How to get into the game:
Start SteamVR
Wait for SteamVR to load and confirm all devices are detected
If using a Control Pad turn this on now
Open your Steam Library and browse to Protonwar
Ensure that the play icon indicates "Play in VR"
If it does not check your SteamVR setup
Click on Play In VR and put your headset on
Protonwar will then ask you if you want to play standing or in seated mode, as a Rift user, select “Seated” mode.
Tips:
To select menu items simply look at the button and press Space Bar or Right Trigger on your control pad
To get back to the menu once in game press escape. and press Q to go to the main menu
If your movements are not tracked correctly please calibrate your sensor via the oculus home application. See https://support.oculus.com/help/oculus/449651231906396/ for help
If you move your sensor you may need to calibrate again
*If you are uncomfortable with camera movement, try the alternate mouse mode by pressing the “M” key*
