Hello, professionals with job descriptions that have completely gone off the rails! … A new update has arrived to test your management skills (or lack thereof). Get ready for inconvenient ruins, architectural synergies, new dubious characters, and even more stamps to impose your will upon the empire!
New Features and Systems
Demolition System: Get a demolition hammer on certain cycles! Use it to destroy annoying ruins or buildings that no longer serve any purpose.
Building Synergies: Several buildings have been rebalanced and new ones have been added. They now have an area of effect that affects other buildings around them!
Minister Selection: Petitioners now arrive in pairs, allowing you to choose whom to attend to. But be careful: sometimes one or the other barges into the office without even asking permission.
Starting Ruins: The game now starts with ruins placed on the map to make your life more difficult. You cannot build within the area of a ruin!
Expense and Income Breakdown: More information and transparency have been added to the status panels, so you know exactly where your resources are going.
2 New Local Events added.
3 New General Events added.
Imperial Stamps
DEVOUR: Converts all costs into food costs.
Mission: Finish cycles with lots of food to earn more DEVOUR stamps!
TYRANNIZE: Denies the document, ignores any threat, and sends the character straight to the dungeon for 3 cycles (leaving their documents suspended).
Mission: Finish cycles with a high army count to earn more TYRANNIZE stamps!
Characters
Tigeryn: An annoying guy who is completely addicted to gambling. He learned the "coin game" from his Aunt Bete and now tries to push his own "Tigeryn's Game" onto everyone.
Nasailson: He always descends from the skies in his spaceship, full of smooth talk and trying to sell highly dubious technological products.
Miguel: Hee Hee!
Pop: A very strange builder...
Buildings
Dangerous Cave: Unlocks an expedition document that can bring great gains or devastating losses, purely by chance.
Casino: Provides happiness and money each cycle.
Refinery (Synergy): For every pair of Farms and Mines within its area of effect, generates additional money.
Local Newspaper (Synergy): Increases the gains of all Commerce buildings in the area, but also increases their costs.
Shopping Center: Provides food, army, and happiness at the cost of money each cycle.
Bank (Synergy): For each Residence within its area of effect, provides extra money each cycle.
Finally...
Grab your hammer, prepare your stamps, and try not to bankrupt the empire. Good luck!
