As the old mechanics of capturing a Bastion occurred to be imperfect and slipped to the passive defense by means of filling the nearest bases with anti-aircraft guns and with no need of the in-game presence of players of the defending side, it will be changed.
The new mechanics will require more active actions of both the attacking party and the defending players.
Changes:
- The time when the Bastion is available for capture is 1 hour.
- Attackers need to get 4000 points to get the Bastion under control of their guild.
- During this time, there is a zone of a certain radius around the Bastion.
- When inside of this zone, the attacking ships get points of capture. If the attackers are N ships more numerous, they get N points per second. If the number of the defending ships is equal to or bigger than the number of the ships of any of the attacking guilds, the attackers don’t get points of capture. Points of capture are reset if there are no attackers in the zone.
- The numbers of attacking ships of different guilds are not summed up.
- The ships are counted only if they are under the direct control of the players (the ships under the remote control of the navigator are not counted).
- If there are several attacking guilds, the most numerous one will have the fastest speed of collection of points of capture.
- Anti-aircraft guns of bases work as usual during capturing a bastion.
The new mechanics will be introduced in one of the next updates. Set a battle time for capturing a bastion in advance to make it convenient for your guild to defend.
