Whirligig Update 3.231

I've taken all your feedback so far and I've worked hard on an update for this week.

The majority of updates I've applied are Error checks and ways to stop Whirligig from crashing or corrupting. I've added better control over failed videos so hopefully you don't get white screens any more and now there is a help screen when a video fails to load. If everything goes to pot you can now press f9 to reset to the original screen. I've also added support to allow for different file formats with the same name to have their own settings. There is also some other boring error checking stuff in there :)

Feature updates include being able to zoom in and zoom out of a video. This options has been added to the custom settings of the gamepad as well as 'q' and 'a' on the keyboard. As it's a new feature, feedback is always appreciated.

I've also recorded a how to use the Vive controllers and will be adding it to the videos section of Whirligig. Look out for that soon.

Know Bugs and issues
I've tried to fix as many issues in this release as possible but there are some I'm still aware of.

The elephant in the room is currently the problem that some videos have poor frame rate playback. Although this appears to relate to large resolutions and high frame rates, this logic doesn't always apply. I've tracked down the culprit to the video plugin that I use in Unity3D. Fortunately the people who make the plugin are currently working on an improved version with faster playback and wider default codec support. Once they have full windows 7 support I will be implementing this into Whirligig. This 'hopefully' should solve a lot of slow playback problems. Please bare with me as I'm not sure how long the implementation will take.

As a final note please be aware this is Early Access and still may have issues. I hope the low price and quality of Whirligig so far will keep you on board but if you are unsatisfied please don't hesitate to get a refund and maybe try again later.

Thanks for your support and I will continue to roll out updates as long as I have strength :)

Find below a full rundown of the updates.
