Update to 3.6.beta

Again with the weekly beta updates. Probably the biggest update this week in the changing of the Input plugin. This hopefully should fix problems with people having constantly scrolling menus or the gamepad not working. It also is an attempt to integrate the Oculus remote control. Although this has been done blind so I have no idea until I get a chance to try out a CV1 whether it has worked or not. The good news there is that I can (A friend has finally got his CV1 Through), so hopefully if it doesn't work, an update will come very soon.

I've also continued my work to change the UI. Well sort of, I've included a new way to have multiple UI's so I can now design a new one and have it as an option not a replacement. It also drives towards allowing people to make there own UI's which I hope to include in the future.

Find below this news update a full list of the changes. Hopefully thing will continue to improve each week. We are still in beta as the issue with the Oculus cursor not locking is still there. But I do hope to update the main thread soon.

And one last thing. Thanks to anyone who gave good reviews of Whirligig. The review section of Whirligig is still like a battlefield of very positive and very negative. I think this is something I might have to come to expect with a product that has to deal with so many external variables. As long as some of you are liking it I'll keep making it :) . Still I'm hoping the improvements each week will encourage more good reviews and I feel the player has already come a long way from its initial release. I will continue to develop it for the foreseeable future so hopefully you'll enjoy more and more updates soon.

Keep Whirligiging.

Until next time. Over and out.

Phil

3.6
-Replaced the Input system with the Oculus input system. With any luck this will allow the Oculus remote to be used and fix issues with scrolling menus. The input system also works the same on Both 360 and xbox one controllers so no longer a need to have an option of them both. So I've removed the ability to choose a controller in the edit gamepad.
-With the update to the input controls I've been able to add the trigger buttons as more options on in the Gamepad Options.
-Whirligig now remembers the stereo option when skipping between different formats.
-UI updates. I've worked on a way to have multiple UI's. What this means at the moment is the 'h' on the keyboard (also a gamepad option) will change the UI to a different colour. I know this doesn't sound that good at the moment but it's actually completely changing the whole UI so in theory there could be several ui's, simple ones, all options etc. Also these are skinable so people can make their own if they feel inclined.
-Updated the hotspot options (for people using the publisher) so that the first hotspot can be the whole screen.
