KimuNote 1.3.75 - Patch Notes
A round of fixes and polish focused on Draw Mode, Arrows, Sheets and the navigation UI.
Draw Mode
You can now move the camera while drawing. Hold Space and drag, use the middle mouse button, scroll to pan, or Ctrl + scroll to zoom. It works with every tool (Pencil, Eraser and Select) and never draws or erases by accident. The cursor turns into a hand while you navigate.
Eraser reworked: it now sweeps the entire path of your cursor, so fast swipes no longer skip over strokes.
The Eraser only saves an undo step when it actually erased something.
Strokes can now only be grabbed with the Select tool, so the Pencil and Eraser no longer interact with existing strokes by mistake.
A stroke is now properly finished if you release the mouse outside the window or switch to another window mid-stroke.
Drawings from older versions that stored duplicate copies of the same stroke are cleaned up when loaded.
Arrows
Fixed a bug where items connected by Arrows kept moving endlessly when moved with the keyboard arrow keys.
Arrows now follow their connected items smoothly in real time while you drag them with the mouse, including when moving several selected items at once or items inside a Group. Previously they only caught up after you dropped.
Fixed Arrows visibly jumping when moved with the keyboard arrow keys, and fixed the position of curved Arrows during keyboard moves.
Sheets
Removed the extra empty area at the bottom of Sheets. The Sheet height now fits its rows exactly, whether the title is shown or hidden.
Fixed the row numbers falling out of alignment with the rows when the Sheet title is toggled.
Adding or removing rows and columns now resizes the Sheet correctly when the title is hidden.
Visual Polish
Board tabs: tabs no longer get squished when you have many open. The close button is always faintly visible and brightens on hover. Tabs show the board name as a tooltip, and the active tab has a subtle accent tint.
Breadcrumbs: cleaner chevron separators, the current board is highlighted, links have hover feedback, and long paths now scroll horizontally instead of wrapping. The position also adapts correctly to the tab bar and top bar.
Zoom control: new slider with an accent-colored progress fill and a styled handle. The zoom percentage is shown in its own badge.
Toolbar hover and press highlights now follow your accent color, and keyboard focus is clearly outlined.
Softer panel and sidebar shadows in the Light theme.
Animations are turned off if your system is set to reduce motion.
