Watch Dogs 2 puts a big emphasis on collaboration and cooperation between hackers, and that's reflected in its online multiplayer action. Blending seamlessly with the single-player experience (while also being completely optional), the multiplayer offers a chance to befriend, chase, and hack other players. Three scenarios have been revealed, which include:
Co-Op

If you're open to online play, you might randomly bump into another player while wandering through the Bay Area, at which point you can choose to explore together and pursue side activities (or just mess around with the world) as a team. You'll also have the option to partner up and invite them to help you conquer one of Watch Dogs 2's co-op missions. Separate from the single-player storyline, these offer multiple paths to a shared goal, enabling you to use any combination of gunfire, drones, and hacking for endless replayability.
Bounty

Pitting player against player, Bounty sessions are triggered organically when a player wreaks so much havoc that the police chase spills over into other players' games, inviting up to three rivals to join the hunt and score big by taking the target down. The target's primary job is to flee, but they can score big bonuses by standing their ground and taking out their hunters, and they can make things a little easier by inviting a co-op partner to be their defender.
Hacking Invasion

The cat-and-mouse hunt from the original Watch Dogs returns, enabling one player to stealthily drop into another player's game and hack their data, while their target hunts for them and tries to stop the hack. The mode has been tweaked for a more balanced experience, however, and the addition of bomb-dropping drones means that targets have new ways to ferret out where hackers are hiding – and new ways to deliver retribution.
