1. UI Improvements
UI visuals, including pop-ups and buttons, have been updated.
The Real-Life Stats UI has been redesigned.
A Taskbar feature has been added. You no longer need to close your current window to return to the desktop. You can now use the taskbar at the bottom of the screen to return to the desktop or switch directly between open windows.
The font has been changed. (Korean version only)
The sizes of various images, text elements, and other UI components have been adjusted to better fit the new UI.
The keyboard image at the bottom of the game screen has been updated, and buttons such as Save, Load, and Exit have been consolidated into a single Menu button. From the Menu, you can access Save, Load, Exit, Settings, and other options.
2. Settings Menu Added
The Settings menu is now available from both the Main Menu and the main game.
The Settings menu currently supports Display Settings and Audio Settings.
Display Settings allow you to adjust the screen mode, resolution, and brightness.
Audio Settings allow you to adjust BGM and sound effect volume.
3. New Main Content – Ticketing & Reselling
This content is not available in the demo version.
At certain times, you can attempt to purchase tickets through Lemon Ticket.
Ticketing is available in three difficulty levels. Higher difficulties have more expensive tickets, but they can also generate greater profits when resold. Regardless of which difficulty you choose, once you attempt ticketing, you must wait until the next ticketing session before trying again.
The ticketing process works much like real-life ticketing. If you are not quick enough to select a seat, you may fail to secure a ticket.
You are only charged for the ticket if your reservation is successful.
Successfully purchased tickets can be resold through the Potato Market. You can set your own asking price, but tickets priced too high may fail to sell.
And, of course(?), you cannot actually attend the concert with the ticket.
4. New Mini Content – Daily Roulette
Once per day, you can spin the roulette at Lupin.
Possible rewards include Nothing, One More Spin, 25% Discount Coupon, 50% Discount Coupon, and Free Exchange Coupon.
If you win a coupon, its discount or free exchange effect can be applied to eligible products sold at Lupang.
Coupons cannot be used on gift sets.
Unused discount or exchange coupons will expire when you spin the roulette again on the following day.
Every roulette segment has a 12.5% chance. The result is determined by the physics engine based on a randomly selected spinning speed, so even the developer cannot know the result in advance.
5. Real-Life System Overhaul
The Health stat now starts at its maximum value of 100 instead of 50.
At 100 Health, there are no penalties. The closer your Health gets to 0, the more severe the penalties become.
The lower your Health, the faster Hunger and Fatigue increase.
When Health falls below 50, you may become ill. The lower your Health, the greater the chance of becoming sick.
If you become ill, you can choose between recovering at home or visiting the hospital.
Recovering at home is free, but you must rest for 3 full days.
Visiting the hospital only requires 1 day of rest, but costs 500 Rice.
Regardless of which option you choose, your parents' Anger will continue to increase normally while you rest.
As part of the Real-Life System overhaul, the effects of food sold at Lupin have been rebalanced, along with the effects of exercises in the Exercise Panel.
6. Tutorial Rework
Mungchi, who previously guided you through the tutorial, has now left our side.
The tutorial has been changed to a quest-based system. Your current objectives are now displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
The tutorial is divided into multiple chapters, with each chapter containing several mini-quests.
Completing all mini-quests in a chapter will advance you to the next chapter, unlocking new features and granting rewards.
All endings are disabled while the tutorial is in progress.
All progress made during the tutorial will be reset once the tutorial ends.
Even if the tutorial is still in progress, the demo will automatically end once the demo's allotted playtime has been reached.
7. Other Updates
Unique class traits have been added to each class in Rice of Kingdom. You can view them by hovering over each class in the class selection screen.
In the Rice of Kingdom inventory, item categories you do not currently own will now be shown as unavailable for selection.
Approximately 200 new Rice of Kingdom items have been added.
The visuals displayed on most in-game monitor screens have been updated.
When a new in-game announcement is available in Rice of Kingdom, the announcement icon will now shake to notify you.
You can now view a list of items currently being delivered from Lupin. Once an item has been delivered and used, it will be removed from the list.
You can now give your parents cash in addition to gifts. Cash is less efficient than gifts, but it reduces their Anger immediately without requiring you to wait for delivery.
8. Demo Version Updates
The demo now ends on Day 5 instead of Day 4.
All classes in Rice of Kingdom are now available in the demo.
You can now visit Lemon Ticket in the demo, but the ticketing feature itself is unavailable.
