Hey everyone,
Spencer here--you guys may know me as the Lord of VR Badassery and, since Early Access launch, Survios’ unofficial community rep. I’ve chatted with a bunch of you here on Steam, met you guys at events like PAX and E3, and gotten you hyped for new Raw Data content with our update release streams.
It’s been super exciting to watch our community grow so rapidly, and alongside that, the Survios team has grown as well in both size and scope. That’s why I’m here talking to you guys: my responsibilities at Survios are continuing to grow in new and exciting directions, so I’m passing the Steam baton.
Starting this week, you’ll see an account titled Survios posting around these parts. It’s a three-headed dragon run by our awesome community team:
- Roger, our community manager, dreams up the epic contests, giveaways, and partnerships that lets us see how creative you can be.
- Lauren, our content strategist, is the wordsmith behind our long-form posts--content updates, hero spotlights, concept art--and helms our three social media channels.
- Amy, our marketing assistant, handles influencer relations and maintains our community VIP list. Fitting, since she’s a streamer herself!
All three of them will be posting here under the Survios handle and signing their posts accordingly. They love killing robots as much as we do, so I know they’ll take good care of you guys!
It’s been a blast, and don’t worry: this isn’t goodbye. You’ll still see me on streams and working events, so I’m not actually going anywhere. ːsteamhappyː Keep being awesome, and I thank you all for the opportunity to get to know and slaughter 'bots with you.
