Combos & Points
In Kabounce your main objective is to accumulate points, your Combo grants a bonus point multiplier, and thus the opportunity to exponentially increase the points you gain. Staying in a good combo flow is important to gain an advantage, but it becomes increasingly difficult when players try to eliminate you, or when you’re trying to stop someone else.
More so, if you have an awesome combo going, and the goal opens (more on the goal in a different blog), you need to make a choice: bank or continue racking up combo? The more combo and points you gather, the more you are at risk from being targeted by opposing player and have a portion of your points stolen.
The real power of playing well with the combo comes from doing meaningful actions in the game so you maximize points. The higher the combo, the higher the multiplier. Similarly, the more points you gain during your combo, the higher the bonus. Try to build up a combo, and eliminate a player within your combo to receive a sweet, sweet point payout.
Be sure to watch out when carrying points and not scoring though, you’ll lose your points just as easily if you’re rolling around as a glorified profit target.
One strategy is to rack up a combo when your points are still low, racking up a high combo fast puts you in a vulnerable position - bouncing around in a cluster of bumpers – you’re an easy target. Once your combo multiplier is high enough, try to eliminate a player and profit!
There’s much more to points and combo strategies, but we’ll leave it at this – we’re not going to spoil everything!
