So ok, if you guys have seen the video by KevGuuey, he makes some pretty strong points about the intensity of the player death VFX. In recognition of this video I have started calling it the "Green Flash of Doom", which shall forever henceforth be its name... But ok seriously, upon giving it some thought I agree with the point that this effect is a little over the top and could be disturbing to some players, so—I have made a small change to where the GFoD no longer flickers in strobe-light fashion, it just goes green for an instant and then smoothly fades away. I hope you all find this to be an improvement!
