New mines: questions and answers

Defenders!

As you already know, we introduced the new resource mine system into the game in February :) As of now, the system is in the testing mode. We are watching closely at how it works in the Prime Zone and by the start of the new season we are planning to add something new to it.
And of course we are following the players’ response to the system and what is still unclear to them.

So, today we have prepared some answers to the frequently asked questions about the new mine system!

1. How does the change work? I’m pressing the button but the mine just won’t change!
In the new system the only thing that changes is your opponent. The mines under your ownership do not change.

2. Why doesn’t the mine level up after the change?
In the new system, in order to get a higher level mine, you need to take it from your opponent. The mine level does not change on its own.
And the "Change" button changes only the opponent, but not the mine in their possession.

3. Why does my mine have a lower level than it had yesterday?
It means that another player attacked your mine and successfully captured it.
After the capture you got their mine of a lower level.

4. How do I level up my mine?
There are two ways to do this:
- If the mine has already been leveled up but was taken from you, you can use revenge. This way you can reclaim the highest level mine you owned at this point. Please note: revenge is only available for 24 hours after your mine was captured!
- Attack opponents. Since the system is looking for the opponents whose mine level is always higher than yours, by capturing their mines, you get a mine of a higher level.

5. Player A has taken my mine but my revenge is on Player B! How did it happen?
The target of your revenge is not the player but the mine. If Player A has left the mine (probably by capturing another one), then your revenge will not be on them.

6. I have lost 2,500 points of rating on one of my mines in one day and my level has dropped from 400 to 150! How did it happen?
Several players have captured the mine, one after another, which is why such a drop happened.

At the same time, it is not hard to get it all back — just use revenge — and your mine will once again be of Level 400.

7. I had an opponent of Level 200. My mine was taken away from me and it became Level 90. Hasn't the opponent changed too? Can I capture a mine 100 levels higher?
Yes, that is right. For some time, the opponent, who was picked up at a high level of the mine, will be available for attack.
If you use Change, the system will find an opponent closer to the current mine level.

8. What is the “Retreat” button for?
You can use it if the mine is owned by a start bot (at the start of the season, for example).
It allows you to lower the mine level. We did it for the players to have an opportunity of making things easier, in case the current mine is too tough for him.
The decrease in the level follows the Seasonal Rules:
- Mines of up to Level 100 - level does not change
- Mines of Level 101-200 - level drops to Level 100
- Mines of Level 201 and above - level drops to (current mine level * 0.7). However, it cannot get below Level 201.

See you in the Prime Zone!
