The Castle!

Defenders!

There is an ancient Castle in the heart of the Prime Zone. Who has built it and why do the Creeps become stronger when they are near it? No one knows the answers to these questions.
However, once you have built your defence against the enemies, the Castle can become a very convenient base for upgrading towers, hiring Heroes, rest, and refill!

1. Special Location

The Castle is available for players who have reached level 3. You can get there by using one the following ways: by clicking on it on the map of the Prime Zone or by clicking a special button on the right side of the screen.

2. Castle Level

The Castle is a unique place and it does not quite follow the usual rules of the game:

There are no difficult levels inside the Castle and starting the battle is free. However, for the loss or escaping the battle you will have to pay with 1 Energy;

You can place and upgrade the towers only before the battle begins. The amount of Prime at the beginning of the battle is increased according to the player’s level, with Castle chevrons, and by taking special Heroes with you: Witch Doctor, Sorceress (and her foil counterpart), and Hellblade;

You have 10 Life Points in the Castle and this number cannot be increased;

The map of the Castle remains unchanged and no events (totems, anomalies, disasters, etc.) ever happen there.

3. Victories and Regalia

The Castle levels up the usual way - with each victory;

The Castle gives you a precious resource over time, regalia. Regalia can be exchanged for valuable goods in the Trading area. The higher is the level of your Castle the more regalia it will give and the more valuable goods will appear on the shelves;

Besides, for each completed stage of the Castle, you will receive additional guaranteed rewards.

4. Trading Area

In the Trading area, you can exchange your regalia for a number of valuable prizes:

🎁 Silver and other valuable resources;
🎁 New and unique cards for leveling-up the Heroes;
🎁 New and unique Heroes for the Castle;
🎁 Various runes;
🎁 Special shadow card shards for crafting,

Assortment of goods depends on the Castle level. The higher is the level of your Castle the more interesting offers you will get ːsteamhappyː

5. Premium

If the player has an active premium account then they will have several bonuses:

💥 2x Energy;
💥 50% more received regalia;
💥 And four additional offers in the Trading area.

6. Special Chevrons

For successfully completing the Castle levels, you will receive unique chevrons:

from level 10 to level 90 (every ten levels) epic Coat of arms of the Protector chevron;

from level 100 to level 900 (every 100 levels) legendary Coat of arms of the Master Protector chevron;

from level 1,000 to level 1,900 (every 100 levels) mythic Coat of arms of the Lord Protector chevron.

Apart from a dedicated chat icon, chevrons also increase the amount of Prime at the beginning of battles in the Castle and can be improved by merging cards.
