A brand new update for Prime World: Defenders 2 is now available! Here goes the full list of new features and fixes that will take place right after you download the new patch.

We hope that your mood is up and you are pleasantly waiting for the New Year to come. To make the atmosphere even more festive, we’ve prepared new mythic cards for you, which are made following the corresponding «snowy» theme.
By the way, please note that the first «red» spell has appeared in Defenders 2! Don’t miss the chance to try it in action
Greet the new mythic cards:
⠀Christmas tree — a cheap tower that makes creeps confused.
We would like to kindly remind you that this content is made for high-level players, meaning that it gets unlocked only once you reach level 70. «Red» tower and new spell shards can be received by opening special boosters that are sold for red shards at the Shop.
At the same time, Christmas event begins at the same time this update gets installed on our servers. Level 70+ players can earn red crystals and other high-level content for participating in it. Players below level 70 will have an opportunity to get valuable prizes that are especially useful on the early phase of the game!
What is more, one more great surprise aways players of ALL levels: you will get a chance to receive a new legendary Heroine, — Snow Maiden, — by participating in the event. Thanks to her, almost all towers and their upgrades will cost less during the battle. The effect the Heroine provides does not apply only to mythic towers. Please note that you can get this Heroine only during the event at the current state of the game!

We’ve completely revised the reward system in Defenders 2, and now you will be receiving a lot more trophies for victories than before!
Now you get the same prizes for victories in both PvE- and PvP-modes — chests with 5 random trophies. Among them, you can find Silver, Essences, Keys, Feeders, Runes, Tower or Spell cards or their shards. The type of the chests and the rarity of the rewards you get depends on your account level. Players without an active Premium subscription will receive 1 or 2 chests per victory, and the ones who own it will get from 2 to 4 chests per victory. This way, you will be getting from 5 to 20 trophies for each win instead of 1-2!
Please note that you will receive chests for victories in mines, too. At the same time:
captured PvP-mines will continue to bring resources (Silver or Essences);
you will still be getting league chests in league mines upon the end of the competition (new chests are given for in-between victories).
Same as before, there are 4 available rewards on each of the arenas. You will be seeing them before the launch of the battle. Among the rewards, you may find chests that belong to one of the groups: rare, special, epic, and legendary. The quality of chests is determined by the player’s account level — the higher it is, the sweeter the reward!
Reward renewal function has not changed. If you do not like the chest you are getting for the future fight, you can change the reward you receive for stars. At the same time, the new reward will be either of the same worth as the previous one, or of a better one (it can not be of a lesser worth than the old one).
We’ve removed all old boosters from the game, excluding heroic and mythic ones, and replaced them with more relevant offers. Now you can purchase rare, special, epic, and legendary chests at the Shop. Level 70+ players can still purchase mythic boosters there.
Rewarded ads now grant a rare chest instead of rare booster but only to players below level 70. Limited to one reward per hour with up to five rewards per day.
We also changed rewards for the one-time purchase of 10 Boosters/Chests.
What is more, we’ve prepared a pleasant bonus for you! For the first purchase of stars, you will get twice the premium currency! The offer applies to all boosters independently, that is, purchasing each of them can grant you a double sum of stars!
Changes affected the Weekly Offers Shop too. In celebration of New Year and Christmas, we removed legendary All-Purpose Gears from it… and replaced them by mythic All-Purpose Gears — at the same price!
We’ve prepared a list of other changes that will make it a lot more comfortable to play Defenders 2.
So, window mode has become available in the desktop version of the game! You can turn it on in the setting menu. The size of the window is fixed:
on UltraWide and SuperUltraWide displays, the size of the screen is determined by the height of the screen, 16:9 aspect ratio;
on 4K displays (Ultra HD), the window mode will run in 2K (2560x1440);
on 2K displays — FullHD (1920x1080);
on FullHD displays — HD (1280x720);
if your display resolution is smaller than FullHD, the size of the window will always be equal to 1280x720.
Improved multiple sale mode work. You can no longer sell locked cards.
Improved Spider Nest effects.
For the following towers, we’ve balanced out the Skill, Ascension & Ingenuity Runes effects: regular and league Sky Eye, regular and league Prime Injector, Detector and Locator, Engineering and Repairing Towers, regular and league Horrifying Tower, Frost Guard, Frost Tower, Shiny Crest, Colony of bats, Spider nest, and Aim Tower. Now, upon upgrading during the fight, their range gets increased by 5% instead of 20%. Aim tower will no longer make the range of the enlisted towers unreasonably wide.
We’ve also fixed up a few things in the game:
If inserted into League Sky Eye, Skill Rune increases the tower's range instead of damage it deals.
Improved English localization.
Fixed several achievement descriptions in Steam.
