Friends!
A brand new update for Prime World: Defenders 2 is now available! Here goes the full list of new features and fixes that will take place right after you download the new patch.

Defenders! You all know that we watch closely your feedback and comments. We were glad to see how much you liked the new towers and Heroes. It inspired us to create more fascinating and unusual mythic cards. The last cards were Halloween-themed. This time we fixed upon queer and yet so enchanting steampunk!
Introducing new mythic cards:
- Tower of Chaos — fires energy charges that pierce through the creeps, dealing AoE damage. Has a 30% chance of making the monsters confused for 5 seconds.
- Aim Tower — increases the range and damage dealt by nearby towers. Cannot be taken in battle alongside with Prime Injector.
- Tower of Order — slows the creeps down, dispels healing, speed up, and armor enhancement effects, making them immune to those effects for 5 seconds.
- Heroine Chronicle — increases the duration of mythic towers' effects.
Quick reminder: mythic cards are high-level content that is why it unlocks when your account reaches level 70. You can find previously added and new towers and Heroes in special boosters for red crystals.
Speaking of red crystals. It turned out Inventor stored up quite a few of them so he'd gladly exchange them for some Gear Wheels he needs so much!
A new event launches together with this Defenders 2 update
Participate in battles, collect mechanisms, use then to spin the Wheel of Fortune, and get random guaranteed prizes. Players of level 70 and above can earn crystals and other high-level content through the event. Players below level 70 can get other valuable prizes — ones that will be more useful at the early stage of the game. You can learn more about the event in the game itself.

We know how badly you wanted to see this feature in the game, so here it goes — at your request:
Now you can sell several cards at the same time!
To do so, click on a card in the collection menu and hold it until you see a suggestion to select other cards. Select all necessary cards and/or shards and press "Sell".
At the same time, you'll see prices displayed on the cards in the multiple sale mode. Press "Sell" and a confirm box will appear with the amount you'll gain.
Please note that:
- It's possible to sell a card with zero shards but for a corresponding price — 0 tokens.
- Runes are still sold by the piece.
You can leave the multiple sale menu the same way you leave the fuse menu.

We added some more nice changes that players asked us about in social media and at the Steam forum. You’re going to love it
Let's start with a pleasant trifle — the event window now has a "Skip chest animation" option. Tick the option to see the rewards right after you spin the wheel. Please note that the animation skipping works only for the "x5" button.
Before the battle starts, you can now see which towers and spells you have tasks for. Such cards have a green line saying "TASK" in the top right corner.
Chat no longer scrolls down automatically when you get a new message from another player or system notification. Autoscrolling will only happen in two cases: when you yourself send a new message or when you reenter the chat room.
And a cherry on top — now you can hire Trickster and Highlander at the same time!

This year we added loads of new content to the game and introduced many other significant changes that influenced both battle and economic balance one way or another. Unfortunately, it led to a devaluation of some truly rare items, making them look like a common and easily accessible content. This shouldn't work like that because, among other things, it has a great impact on players' interest. Defenders 2 is not only a tower defense but partly a collectible card game too. In CCGs, obtaining a rare and valuable card brings a special satisfaction and genuine joy.
Among such items are Legendary All-Purpose Gears and Spell Amplifiers. Basically, they are among the most valuable cards in the game — a kind of jokers that can substitute for any legendary tower or spell. Yet recently it became too easy to obtain them. We decided to restore their well-earned value, so we deleted them from the Hunt mode. From now on you can only find epic All-Purpose Gears and Spell Amplifiers at most. Additionally, Counter Boosters no longer contain feeders for legendary cards. In return, each booster is guaranteed to contain an epic amplifier.
Right now you can receive a legendary All-Purpose Gear as a one-time gift when purchasing 10 Counter Boosters. Moreover, you can win it in the new event!
Other changes in economics refer to tasks. The value of tasks has increased significantly after we introduced regular events to the game because they help the players to earn most of the event currency. At the same time, the price to update the tasks remained unchanged — calculated for common essences. Unfortunately, some players abused this feature to earn too much event currency in a short space of time. All this had a negative effect on the in-game balance in general.
That is why we are bringing in a new progressive cost of task updating. It won't affect average players but will cut short any possibilities of almost infinite and not quite fair farming of the event currency.
Essentially, from now on each subsequent update costs 30 stars more than the previous one — up to 195 stars. Yet, to make it possible for an average player to complete the usual number of tasks per day, the first update of the day costs 15 stars, just like it used to. We'd like to emphasize that when a new day starts, the cost is refreshed to its minimum, which is 15 stars.

We also introduced several fixes to make Defenders 2 even more comfortable for you:
- Tasks are now available for league towers.
- Duelist grants the number of additional assaults that is displayed on his card.
- You can no longer insert runes that block the way of flying and underground creeps into Ghost tower.
- Banshee tower's description now displays the Lucky Rune effect.
- Creeps' cards now display the Defender effect.
- If you insert Skill Rune in Sky Eye or Colony of bats, the correct description will be displayed.
- The Monopolist and Who needs spells? achievements for Steam, Google, and Apple accounts are now granted when a player earns the third star in Feats instead of the first one.
