Hello, crisis management bots!
We've been reviewing save games, bug reports, and feedback, and have just released a new hotfix patch primarily addressing stability and persistence issues. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to improve the stability of Kepler 186F.
Fixes & Improvements
Fixed an issue where location icons would sometimes cluster together randomly.
Fixed an issue where combat robots could not be deployed successfully 100% of the time.
Fixed an issue where vehicle lights could not be turned off properly.
Fixed an issue where vehicles could still move even when fuel was depleted.
Fixed an issue where combat robots could not be deployed correctly if the player left or died.
Fixed an issue where vest and back armor bonuses were not stacking correctly.
Fixed a data overflow issue at the workbench that caused objects to load as blank.
Fixed an issue where the 3D printer in the Sector Alpha was not interactive.
New Location: Black Armor Water Recyclor (Heavily Infected Area)
Added a random meteorite fall event.
Added urban roads; players can now travel to various mission locations via overpasses.
Added more lights to fortresses building.
Added reloading of the current map to prevent getting stuck on walls.
You can now carry more chips (up to 600 chips per slot).
Optimized minimap position.
Optimized user interface and adjusted color scheme proportions.
Optimized loading order of industrial elevators in certain scenes to improve game performance.
Optimized location icon display logic; icons now fade based on distance.
Removed the appearance of Lighting Pod Tower during terrain generation; they now only appear in specific locations.
Removed robot deployment restrictions; combat robots can now be deployed even without power or energy (and can be deployed until the player dies!).
Removed some items used during testing (such as bread and explosive bows); these items may return in the future, but are temporarily removed in the current version.
