20,000 Wishlists. Thank You From the Bottom of Our Hearts.
We honestly never imagined reaching this milestone so soon.
A little over a month after releasing the demo and trailer, Granny has reached 20,000 wishlists on Steam.
As a self-published team, this is honestly hard to believe. We knew we were making something we cared deeply about, but seeing so many of you discover the game, play the demo, share theories, report bugs, send encouragement, and follow the mystery has been overwhelming in the best possible way.
Since the demo launched, a lot has already changed behind the scenes. We’ve been working tirelessly on fixes, tweaks, improvements, and new ideas to make the experience smoother, stronger, and closer to the game we want Granny to become. You can follow many of those changes in our devlogs in our discord.
We also promised a new investigation when we reached 20,000 wishlists.
And it’s coming.
But… you got us there way faster than expected. 😅
We’re going to need a little more time before we can release it, because our priority right now is to make the demo as polished, smooth, and solid as possible. The good news is that when the next investigation arrives, it will come together with all the improvements we’re currently working on.
And honestly, we think it’s going to be fantastic.
The version we’re playing locally at the studio already feels very different from the demo currently available on Steam, and we can’t wait to share those improvements with you.
In the meantime, if you want to support Granny, the best thing you can do is talk about the game around you. Tell your friends, your communities, your fellow detectives, and anyone who enjoys strange mysteries, hidden clues, and weird little details.
The more wishlists the game gets, the more Steam can help put it in front of new people, and the better our chances of keeping Granny alive for a long time, with all the love and ambition we want to pour into it.
Thank you for being here.
These past few days have felt like a waking dream. <3
