Hello everyone!
Based on recent player feedback, I’ve made a significant change to the early-game progression in Texplore.
Many of you mentioned that it wasn't immediately clear that the drill was capable of moving in directions other than down. To clear up this confusion and make the early game feel more fluid, Sideways and Upwards Drilling are now standard abilities.
What this means:
New Players: You will start the game with the ability to drill in all directions immediately. No purchase required.
The Shop: The upgrade to unlock these movements has been removed from the shop, freeing up your early currency for other upgrades.
My goal is to make sure you have the tools you need to survive and explore right from the start. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on this—it helps make the game better for everyone!
