Hello everyone,
This week, I mainly advanced the level design of Chapter 2 (except for the last small level), adding a vertical gameplay element—players can now climb onto rooftops to explore. Meanwhile, the chapter display function has been implemented in the game, with plans to add a chapter selection feature later on.
Through countless rounds of level testing, even though I can't count how many times I died, I still had a lot of fun. Compared to Chapter 1, the operational difficulty of Chapter 2 is indeed much higher, but as long as you get familiar with the mechanics and master the skills, you can still handle it with ease.
The main development focuses this week include:
1. Design and implementation of the sniper function.

2. Ladder climbing and the protagonist's fall damage mechanism from heights.

3. Adding chapter display at the start of each level.
4. New special effects for zombies during the capture process, which will show different effects based on the player's capture level.

5. Adding more diverse low-level and mid-level zombies.
6. Optimizing the main menu content, allowing players to directly view clues and diary content from the main menu.

7. Completing the introduction copy for the clue content.
8. Multiple issue fixes and optimizations.
Thank you all for your attention and patience! Feel free to share your thoughts and expectations in the comment section.
