Today we want to make sure everybody has had a chance to check out all the maps and mods entered into the second round of the Rising Storm 2 modding contest. For your convenience you can subscribe to all of that content at once using this Steam Workshop Collection or you can browse them manually by checking out the Round 2 workshop tag here:
We encourage all the community server admins to consider running this content (don’t forget to let your favorite server admins know you would like to see it!) but we are also running two servers as well located here in Atlanta, USA as well as Frankfurt, Germany. For manual joining, the IP’s are:

And don’t forget to vote up your favorites and leave feedback to the authors on the Steam Workshop! We will likely host at least one or more events to help our judges get a feel for the maps so keep an eye out on the Steam announcements as well as our social media accounts for more info.
The last thing we want to cover is the upcoming 1.06 update. Overall this update is a community focused feature improvement and Quality Of Life update including: Server queue, reworking gameplay elements in Skirmish, improving the Damage Model, higher thresholds for Suppression, level requirements for leadership roles, radioman UI (to make it better and easier to work with the commander) and improvements to 3D VOIP - to make them more fun and addressing many outstanding bugs. Our stated goal was to have the next update release this month. However, to better address several issues, we have decided to extend the release date and are instead now targeting the first week of March.
We hope to have a Work In Progress changelog available over the coming days leading into its release as well as more details on “what’s next” in the weeks ahead (hint: it involves the M1).
