Hey, pirates! We’ve got some great news for Linux users out there, as we have just updated the beta version of Tempest build for this OS. Check it out right now and share your opinion in the comments section! All you need to do is to go to the game properties in your library, select testing_linux_users in the beta version and enter the password tempestlinux (works for 64-bit systems only).
And that’s not it yet! Right now we are working on the next patch for the game that addresses the following issues:
- optimization the time for switching your location to the Jade Sea
- issues with walking around a galleon
- sails now appear properly on a junk boat
- wrong number of items aboard won't be shown if those items are also present in the warehouse
- ships sunk in certain missions now appear correctly
- you can now place two of the same item in slots to upgrade equipment
- you can't sell key items now
- item price in the shop is now shown with the discount
- typos in the tutorial text
