Demo was released 2 weeks ago, so it is time for a patch to include general improvements as well as some demo-specific items. A lot of this came straight from your bug reports and feedback, so keep them coming!
Feedback is always welcome, if you want to poke around early builds come and join Discord:
Improvements around inspection and item interaction
I got some bug reports/feedback from you folks
Fixed: Attempt to pick it up but inventory is full, make room in inventory, then pressing space on the same tile just says "There is nothing here."
Fixed: I can pick up items from anywhere on the screen by right-clicking on them, and don't actually have to be on or near the tile.
Fixed: There is not a keyboard key to inspect tiles / bring up a context menu like I can do with the mouse right-click, that would be very useful. Now the F key does that, of course is re-bindable in the game settings.
Cloud saves
While the demo does not have a save/load feature (unlike the full game), it will save your settings now across runs and devices.
Steam Achievements
Since I've added achievements to the main game, I've added one for those who finish the demo ;)
More statuses
Up until now the lower you could go on a stat was none. No more! You can go deeper into the bad side of your build with Cursed, Feeble, Exposed, and Sluggish statuses 😂
Optimization and size reduction
I've tweaked a bit the demo build so does not ship some of the heavy assets that are full-game only (ie: music), so it's way smaller in size now. As Steam Deck user I really hate when some demos are just way to big.
