The Cryomancer is a powerful caster that uses Cryogen and their Ice Crystalto chill foes to the bone and shatter the icy statues they leave behind.
SOLO AND TEAM PLAY
Your role as Cryomancer is Attacker—also known as DPS (damage per second)—and your focus in both solo and team play is mainly to keep your distance and unleash powerful ice based attacks. Begin your icy onslaught with Whiteout to create a snowstorm which will slow and damage your enemies, then follow up with Icy Comet to quickly deliver additional damage. Use Cryobeam (PvE only)and Icy Thorn to finish off any stronger enemies that might still be standing after your initial assault.
Use Glacial Fangs (PvE only)to freeze enemies dead in their tracks, and if that’s not enough, unleash the ultimate power of cold with Frost Shackles to instantly encase all enemies around you within an icy prison.
When facing a more powerful enemy, start by weakening it with Icy Dart which makes them susceptible to critical hits, then proceed with Whiteout and Cryobeam. If you gain the Cryocharge effect, use Icy Thorn to deliver maximum damage, otherwise use Jagged Ice (PvE only) and Icy Comet to close out your burst.
If you become overwhelmed, you can use Crystal Shield to significantly reduce any damage dealt to you. Glacial Fangs will freeze them and allow you to gain some distance.
ATTRIBUTES
The Cryomancerbenefits the most from damage boosting stats, such as Main Damage, Critical Damage, and Critical Chance.
