Chugging along on 5089 improvements! As always, thank you for your support & feedback!
- Item comparison system: hover an item over another & see the stats for both! Works for comparing items you haven't purchased yet, and also for seeing how a part will integrate into something else in the workshop.
- Reduced "floater bomb" damage by 20%.
- Increased "normal" ranged enemy attack damage by 5%.
- Crates should no longer spawn on top of robots in buildings, which may have caused robots to be pushed below the floor.
- Head movement should now be locked to arrow key movement when in "Mixed" VR movement mode.
- Increased burden support of utilities per level from 35 to 40.
- You will now get an accuracy boost when in "Stealth" mode.
- Friendly robots will no longer get angry at you if you accidentally hit them while they are attacking another enemy.
- Weapon range-check when "interacting" with robots from a distance will now consider if they are underwater, where range is shorter.
- Increased rate of non-player multiplayer updates, although slightly reduced the rate for player updates to compensate.
- Multiplayer clients will no longer pause if window focus is lost, which may have been the cause for some disconnects / lag-outs.
- Minor inventory fixes: more compact to make room for comparisons & fixed some ordering problems when separating parts in a workstation.
Linux users: this game should run fine outside of Steam, when running the 5089.sh script (or opening the 5089.jar with Java 9+). I've opened up a topic on the developer forums to hopefully get help... seems to be a problem with Steam client-set environment variables.
