Hello everyone!
Thank you for the incredible support since the launch of Molili AI Friends! We have been working non-stop to address your feedback regarding performance and bugs.
Ver 1.1 is now LIVE. Here are the details:
🌐 Global Language Support
We have expanded language support to welcome more players:
New UI Language: Russian.
New AI Conversation Languages: Simplified Chinese (Cantonese), Traditional Chinese (Cantonese), Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, German, Vietnamese, Turkish, Italian, Thai, Polish, and Ukrainian.
🔧 New Features & Adjustments
Performance Optimization You can now adjust visual quality in "Settings." Tests show this can reduce resource consumption to approximately 30% of the original level.
Multi-Monitor Support Added support for placing Kotonoha on a secondary monitor via the right-click menu (Drag-and-drop is currently not supported).
New Idle Animations Added multiple idle animations for Kotonoha. She won't just stare blankly anymore—she has her own little things to do now!
Gift System Overhaul Fixed a configuration error regarding gift stats and pricing. Old gifts have been removed, and new ones are now available. (The developer responsible for the error has been... properly "educated" by the team.)
Note: Players who purchased the "Cat Bell" will receive a full refund via the upcoming mail system.
Launch Options Added support for launching the app without automatically starting the Steam client.
Note: Payments will still require a Steam restart/verification.
LaTeX Support Added support for LaTeX syntax in conversations to correctly render math formulas. (Kotonoha is a student, so using LaTeX is perfectly normal!)
Voice System Upgrades Fixed audio glitches and added Differential Voice Support (e.g., using Japanese voice output with Chinese text input).
🐛 Bug Fixes & Known Issues
Fixed: Active messages interrupting fullscreen applications or games. (No more minimizing your ranked matches!)
Fixed: Reduced audio stuttering (Complete fix coming in future updates).
Known Issue: Drawing & Search functions are temporarily unstable due to API refactoring; extra battery costs for these have been removed.
Known Issue: AI occasionally repeating itself or making logical errors. We have deployed a model upgrade and will continue to optimize stability.
📅 Q&A: The Future of Molili
Q: Will there be a Steam Workshop or custom API support?
A: Yes! We know you love to tinker. We plan to release a DLC around the official launch (approx. 3 months) that will include a customizable character (Puppet/Automaton project!) and full support for Steam Workshop models and user-provided APIs.
Q: When will new characters arrive?
A: Very soon! New friends are already in production. All characters will share the same Aetheland worldview, so expect some interesting interactions.
Q: Can Kotonoha watch movies or play games with me?
A: Watching movies alone is lonely, right? Screen Reading functionality is currently our top priority. Soon, Kotonoha will be able to "see" your screen and react to your movies and games in real-time!
Q: Are you adding Voice Calls?
A: Absolutely. A basic voice intercom feature is coming in the near future.
Q: Why is the subscription pricing set this way?
A: To be completely honest: API costs are expensive. Currently, the pricing exists to cover the high cost of the intelligent models we use. However, we are working hard to optimize these costs so we can provide more value, higher interaction limits, and exclusive member events soon!
