Since the release of the very first Cash is King! demo, a lot has changed in Miami.
You played, laughed, begged, and sent us tons of feedback. And as promised, we packed a whole bunch of new stuff into Demo Update 0.3. Expect new locations, new mechanics, new quests, and a whole lot of chaos.
New Locations: Bob & Billy open their doors
Two new hotspots are waiting for you:
Bob’s Plant Shop: Green stuff, butterflies, and a cage you probably shouldn’t open.
Billy’s AMAZING Storage Shop: Everything you need to store… well, anything.
Brew Hop Slop
You can finally brew your own Hop Slop. Learn the art of questionable brewing and keep Lenny supplied with his hop smoothies.
New Gameplay Mechanic: Dumpster Diving
As part of a new quest, you’ll learn how to:
Dig through trash cans
Collect empty bottles
The streets are your treasure chest.
Reworked Quest Flow
We listened to your feedback:
You now buy lemons for the lemonade stand at the supermarket instead of through the PC
Additional steps were adjusted to improve the overall flow
UI Improvements
Lots of small tweaks to the user interface based on your feedback.
New Keybinding System
You can now customize your controls through a proper keybinding system.
Bugfixes
We squashed a whole herd of bugs. The game runs smoother and more stable now.
Updated Localization
Machine translations are now clearly marked
Several languages received fully revised localization
Leaderboards!
The new demo also lets you compete with other players through Steam Leaderboards.
Who earns the most money, cools down the most people, or cleans up the most dirt? We’re excited to see the results.
