Hello!
It’s now been two weeks since the Steam page for Childwood went live, and we’ve already passed 1000 wishlists. That’s crazy in such a short time!
Your interest in Childwood truly warms our hearts. A huge thank you, it’s an incredible boost of motivation for us!
For those of you who don’t know us yet, we are Oneiric Tales, a small independent French studio. You can count the team on one hand, and we are committed to putting creativity and imagination at the core of our approach, with a strong taste for dark worlds, as Childwood shows, as well as our first game Path of Ra.
We can’t wait to reveal more about the world of Childwood, its inspirations, its lore, and also a behind-the-scenes look at its creation.
What’s next?
We were at Paris Games Week last month, where we had people play a very early version of Childwood. The game was very well received, and we’re taking all your feedback into account as we prepare a demo that will be released in early 2026.
It’s possible that we’ll organize playtests before the demo comes out, so stay tuned!
