1.2.7 Information galore

• VR menu issues resolved
• Subtle visual polish
• Slight changes to tutorial
• 2.0 update ‘under the hood’ preparation

This was mainly a VR update. VR will no longer have menu buttons. When you use VR it will boot straight into the game. When you complete a night it will go right onto the next, no more finicky menu buttons. If you need to change any settings, please do so in standard mode, all settings will be saved for when you boot up in VR. To exit VR and quit the game, press ALT + Enter.

VR will get its very own balanced version of the game. It’s understandably much more difficult using a VR headset, and I will make sure the gameplay adjusts accordingly to take this into account in future updates. VR right now is more of a fun extra, and certainly changes the way you play the game. It would be unfair to keep certain aspects for VR users. I’ll make sure it’s enjoyable, with a balance of challenge and enjoyably.

Future update info
• 2.0 will be out hopefully in early January. (50% more gameplay / story)
• Nightmare mode, and achievements will follow soon after. (2-3 weeks)
• Finishing touches will be made, and the game declared finished. (This will not be rushed)
• Language support for Russian, German, Brazil, French, and Polish. (Subtitles, or fully dubbed)

2.0 will feature a full house to explore and interact with. New gameplay mechanics with story content is also included that will reveal the full backstory to the origins of the Boogeyman... and many secrets Alicia and Elle have been hiding. I will keep the rest of the surprises hush until release. I will just say that there is enough content been added that it could have been made into a large DLC pack or Boogeyman 2 sequel game in itself. I was strongly advised to do just that. I made a promise, which was that all updates to this game will forever be free. This will never change, rest assured. I have now publicly confirmed this.
