Greetings Gravebound
We have had a fantastic reception to the Steam Demo going live, lot's of feedback from players and some nice stuff going on via streamers and news articles, but work continues, we have many improvements to add, so todays Dev Blog we will go over what's incoming, what is needing more work and some coverage of Begraved so far!
Feedback And Fixes
We have patched the Demo a couple of time's already and have more fixes incoming very soon which you can see listed below, Big thankyou to all the bug reports on Steam and our Discord if you any issues please do join and let us know.
Incoming Demo Patch
We have been steadily working on another patch that may get pushed this weekend otherwise early next week adding bits and bobs and fixes to the following.
Improvements to ghost/spectate functions (Still more to do)
Players will now get released if grabbed and the monster dies
Crate stacking improvements
Cobweb fixes and placement changes
Monsters will now show damage (Overlay) when hit
Monsters should no longer spawn in hideout
Increased monster HP when more players
Music volume settings not working as intended
New jewelry designs
New urn designs
-Bloom
Still Working On
Player stats display not synched correctly
Players cant use escape button (Death camera bugs/stuck after death)
Performance issues (Primarily higher end rigs/ high fps tanking performance) we recommend capping at lower rate for now or typical lowering of graphics settings, particularly shadows
No 4k resolution option (Fix for now given by Hover RV, while we add options in game. big thanks!) RMB on the game in Steam Library - show local files - RMB on the game .exe - properties - Compatibility tab - click "Change high DPI settings" - click "Override high DPI scaling behavior" - select "Application" - Ok - Ok - launch the Game
Crouch animations improvements
Cam shake enable/disable options
Various monster improvements
New furniture items
New cosmetics
New cat variants
Some of the fixes above might make it into the next patch or may take a bit longer, as always we will post full patch notes with each update.
