I have been working on the next major feature update for Rock God Tycoon. The rhythm gameplay. We can't show very much of it just yet but we assure you it is going to be awesome. Whilst I do that work, Panos has been working on creating a couple new homes for the game. The apartment added some much needed change and a bigger sense of reward than anything else we've added so far. It feels like the right direction and so we have pursued it.
This update doesn't add much to the game but it does stablize it quite a bit. There are always going to be more bugs that I'm not aware of but you have all been great about reporting issues and I want to thank you for that.
When will the next update be?
There may be a two to three week period without any updates due to the workload of the next upcoming feature. At the moment I am estimating there is somewhere around 200 hours worth of work before the next major update is ready. Unfortunately it is not a task that can be easily split among our team of two so how quickly the required tasks get completed is hard to say.
We hope sooner than later and will keep everyone posted in the meantime.

- Fixed issue with dates not being correct in the end of February
- Fixed bug with band info song list, over 67 songs would cause an issue where the last song in the list wouldn't be drawn
- Fixed variable name conflict that may have been causing random crashes
- Fixed a really bad memory leak that occured when using user music
- Patterns can no longer be deleted while the track is playing
- Spacebar toggles time pause
- Rebalanced dynamic world band generation
- Player skills now properly cap out at 100
- Substance abuser trait now has a 5% chance occurence instead of the previous 15%
- Busking now shows the amount of money a character earns for the band
- You can no longer fire band members when you can't afford to pay them off, no more instant game over from that mistake
- In song creation, tempo 180, guitar, the first riff pattern was referencing the wrong file and this led to a crash
- Album sales were broken and have been fixed
- Album sales have been added to the financial information menu
- Instruments purchased now are accounted for in the financial information menu
- Gig revenue is now accounted for in the financial information menu
- Band solidity now properly affects tension loss at the end of each day
- Possibly fixed time freeze bug
