2017 Ladder Season 2
Speaking of events, our second ladder season started on March 1st. Everything is fresh and you are ready to climb anew! Compete for cosmetics, packs, and gold—not to mention that animated sleeve for those who make it all the way up to cosmic.

Transition Patch & the Ladder
Hey all, Corey Burkhart here to discuss an issue with the Ladder results for Season 1 of 2017. As a part of the transfer from the Gameforge servers to the HEX Entertainment servers, there were some issues reporting the standings and results of the ladder.
The issue spawned during the server transfer. If a player played a game before verifying their Keep Name (in-game name) on the new HEX entertainment servers, their rating was saved to the false name that the servers used to protect the privacy of these players. Then, when their new name was re-established, the database pulled a rating at random to associate with the player. Thus, some players saw that their in-game rating was much lower than they anticipated.
With some effort, we were able to backtrack over the last week and correct for the ratings that were off. With this data, we were able to solve which players should have ended in Cosmic at the end of the season in both the limited and constructed ladders. This issue has been solved in the database now, and players don’t need to worry about the current 2017 Ladder Season 2 data being collected.

To those players not on these leaderboards—but who were shown on the leaderboards in client at the end of 2017 Season 1—you will also be qualified for the upcoming Cosmic Crown Showdown. We determined that it would be unfair to these players who believed that they had earned a spot in the CCS to exclude them from the event. These players’ names are posted below each list for which they qualified.
We apologize for the issues. These have been corrected going forward. Congratulations once again to the winners and good luck next weekend in the Cosmic Crown Showdown!
