And that's not all—this week we revealed not only our upcoming keywords but also our five new champions! If you haven't already, you should totally check out these articles by Dead of Winter design lead Corey Burkheart. The nights are getting colder, and it is good to be prepared!
Speaking of preparation, remember that Armies of Myth and Primal Dawn will be rotating with the release of Dead of Winter. This means that these cards and champions will no longer be legal in the Standard constructed format. They will, however, remain legal in our Immortal format. If you are unfamiliar with how rotation works in HEX, please check out this article here.
Another thing that will change when Dead of Winter releases is that our exciting Kismet's Draft mashup will go back into the vault. If you still haven't gotten all of the six beautifully animated sleeves from this event, be sure to join the draft queue soon! Remember, every three match wins will get you another sleeve, so the next one is just a few wins away.
We announced our latest tournament offering: Fight Night HEX (FNX). FNX is a Standard Rock tournament which will take place 4 times a week on two different days. Rock is a constructed format where only commons and uncommons are used. No rares or legendaries are allowed. You can still use any gems and champions from the Standard format. The new and improved HEX Primal Immortal Championship series (ICS) was this last weekend, and people turned up in droves! It's exciting to see everyone enjoying our Immortal changes. Congratulations to those who placed!

Speaking of awesome tournaments, the end of our current ladder season is fast approaching. Our ladder will roll over midnight Pacific, October 31st, so if you are aiming to be a star and join our Cosmic Crown Showdown (HEX's bimonthly $5,000 cash tournament) make sure you climb as high as you can. The top 64 players from limited and constructed will be invited, so be prepared. Our next Cosmic Crown Showdown will happen on November 11th-12th. Only a chosen few can write their name in the stars!
Charity Stream
Others make their mark in different ways. Today, InfamousNeo and our stream team are finishing up the last day of annual Charity Stream! Help make this a fantastic close to four full days of charitable giving by visiting them and showing your support.
In honor of the charity stream, we will be granting everyone with an account by October 29th the 2017 Charity Sleeve! We will also be granting the stylish Diamond's Favor AA as well. Authenticator
When HEX transitioned back to us from Gameforge, everyone's authenticator was desynched from their account as we are no longer using the Gameforge authentication system. If you have (or would like) an authenticator on your account, please make sure it is enabled. You can do so by going to "Account" on the HEXTCG.com website, logging in, and clicking "Enable." We use Google Authenticator, so you will need that installed on a device of your choice as well. You can log in and check your authenticator status by clicking here.

Please note: if you happen to have technical issues with the Clash or Bash events, our support team requests that you submit an output log from that same day along with your ticket. This is essential, not only to ensure your ticket gets resolved in a timely fashion, but also to help us prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. Output, error, and crash logs can be found in the HEX: Shards of Fate program install folder on your machine.
A Distant Rumor
Dead of Winter is aptly named. As Cory Jones has teased a few times, most recently in his charity stream opening interview, a major character will die over the course of this new set. Who could it be? How will they die? Make sure to put your predictions in the forums below. And—OHH #$@$!! Could it have anything to do with these?!
That's right, the otherworldly entities from Dead of Winter will all be animated! You can check them out on our website. This includes our first ever animated champion, Entity Unknown!
