v0.2.20 JUMP POINT

So why is this patch called Jump Point?

I don't know! Ask Zag ːclaughː

ANYWAY, the main features of this patch are:

  • Optimized netcode, polycounts, and texture sizes across the entire game
  • New Assault Rifle art and animations
  • New Railgun art and animations
  • Loads of quality of life fixes, from faster movement speed to tighter gunplay

https://youtu.be/4R_WY2ccwNo What you'll notice with this patch is that the game "feels" a lot more competent as a shooter thanks to increased movement speed, new weapon animations, new camera animations and all the feedback being moved to client side so impact happens instantly even if you have high latency. Feels good, Spaceman.

This is all part of MY ultimate goal to make Unfortunate Spacemen a TRUE FPS so we can eventually introduce a Battle Royale mode to generate some easy $$$ for The Company

(Just kidding...maybe)

NOW: as we work to refine the game we're also going to be adding Single Player & Co-Op missions as the next step in continuing to add more content to the game while also looking to expand the player base for our classic intense shapeshifting action.

Stay tuned, Spacemen - and GET BACK TO WORK!
