In Xmorph: Defense each mission begins with the harvester core landing sequence. It drops down to earth straight from the orbit, stopping just above the ground. The shockwave from the landing destroys everything in the area, clearing the spot for the core's transformation into a stationary structure. All of the destruction is dynamically simulated in real time.
