There was an XP bug that we had encountered about a few weeks back. This is what is currently slowing down your progress.

This issue has been resolved and this fix will be included in the upcoming v2.05 update currently scheduled for release in March 2017.
We've also globally boosted XP gains so in addition to the bug fix speeding things up, we have also manually increased things up on top of this.
By the time you get to play v2.05 you'll notice significantly improved leveling times, especially if you have an XP Booster from the Trek Store!
